My husband and I adopted our basenji mix, Maggie, in 2006 when we lived in Egypt. She came to us sick and very dirty, so we gave her a good bath and lots of love, and nursed her back to health. We brought her home to the US with us in 2007 and have been giving and receiving lots of love ever since!
