I have epilepsy. Jenna alerts to seizures 10 minutes before they occur and then helps me afterward. She has given me independence and has totally changed my life. I like to call her my "freedom dog". She is a miracle. Jenna goes everywhere with me and keeps me safe. I have not been in the hospital since getting her. She and I give talks in the community about how service dogs change lives. Last year, she and I won the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Epilepsy Society of Kern County. Here, she is retrieving a book for me. One of the over 100 commands she knows.
